Voon LAI started in the securities industry in 1995 and was involved in different aspects of securities business, including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, financial advisory and equity and debt capital markets transactions in Hong Kong and China. Mr. Lai was previously the Head of Investment Banking at BOCOM International Capital Limited from June 2014 to March 2017, managing their Corporate Finance, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisition Department in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. He was also at CCB International Capital Limited from early 2006 to June 2014 and was the Deputy Head of Investment Banking prior to joining BOCOM.

Mr. Lai graduated from Queen Mary & Westfield College (now known as Queen Mary University of London) with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering in 1992 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Buckingham, United Kingdom in 1994.

Ying Yen began her career with a boutique corporate finance advisory firm at which she was involved in initial public offerings in Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, private placement exercises and financial evaluation of asset acquisitions.

Ying Yen joined Resolute in year 2019 and has been involved in various aspects of corporate exercises, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as financial advisory services.

Ying Yen graduated from Renmin University of China, Beijing with a Bachelor’s degree in Law in 2013. She also holds a second bachelor’s degree – a B.Sc. in Business, Economics and Finance (Hons) – from The University of Nottingham (Malaysia Campus) in 2018.
