Alex has experience in the corporate finance advisory works after having spent the past nine (9) years attached to the corporate finance and client coverage departments of RHB Investment Bank Bhd (post-merger with OSK Investment Bank Bhd). He graduated from University of London, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Law and was a former Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence holder.
He was involved in various initial public offerings, capital raising exercises, corporate debt restructurings, company valuations for mergers and acquisitions, and independent advisory works during his tenure in corporate finance department. During his 1.5 years tenure in client coverage, he was mainly involved in originating and structuring equity and debt proposals as well as corporate loans to large corporate clients, such as the OSK Group, IOI Group, Hap Seng Group, etc. Some past notable deals worked on and completed during his tenure in corporate finance are, amongst others, the listing of E.A. Technique (M) Bhd (2014), Al-Salam REIT (2015) & Salutica Bhd (2016), Kulim (M) Bhd’s partial takeover of New Britain Palm Oil Ltd (2013) and its subsequent disposal (2015).
